The ups and downs of life. I wish someone would have warned me. Right now I'm just trying to enjoy whats left of my summer in the midst of my sadness. I spend my days proofing and posting client galleries while trying to avoid the hurt i feel inside. But no one said this life would be easy. I am a reserved person when it comes to my feelings and friendship. I don't just let anyone in. And when I do, I still have a hard time putting my guard down. I guess thats because of experiences like these, when you never expect that the one person you trusted with your hopes and your fears would leave you in the cold. Wingless and broken. No warning, no apologies, nothing. But this too shall pass and I know things happen for a reason. I know that wrong choices can bring these types of outcomes. So I'm praying and hoping that I can make better choices in the future.

Ok I'm going to do some back tracking. I made my mom and dad their very own albums for mother's and father's day. My mom loved hers and my sweet sensitive dad teared up. I really put my time into both of those gifts, I wanted them each to have something that incorporated their past and present along with how important they are to me and my siblings. Hope you like!!

Hello bloggers!! LOL. I am so tired and I don't know how I managed to get up so early today. Yesterday I think I used every bone in my body that I haven't used in a very long time. I've been taking dancing classes. Salsa on wedn. and Belly Dancing on fridays. And I am also practicing a hip-hop routine with some friends for my best friends 30th big bash!! So yeah, maybe thats why I'm so tired.

I need to get on the ball!!! There is so much that i haven't blogged about. I just need to learn how to in my very busy day. Like taking out five to ten minutes to blog each day. It is therapeutic you know. :0)

Hello Everyone!!

I hope all my fellow bloggers are doing well. I know, I'm not a great poster. LOL. I try to post when I can. But I have been so busy and for me thats a GOOD thing. Well school is almost out!! "woo hoo" (thats me jumpin up and down, LOL). 3 more weeks and counting. This summer I hope to do more of my photography and since I haven't shared any in the past month or so. i love America's Top Model. Not just the models, but the photography as well. I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have been very busy with BOTH jobs. :) Thank God for SPRING BREAK!! I have the girls with me this week for the famous DENYS CAMP. LOL So we decided to lift one of the AMTM's Sessions. Here is our ODE to that episode. :P

Here are a few of my recent shoots. I did a senior shoot, a model shoot, and portraits. I was so excited to come home and edit these. I had great subjects and they made it easier for me to capture their "essynce."
Right now I am filling some orders (thank GOd). I thank God for letting people call me that I have taken pictures of in the past to order prints. I have also updated my website, but i'm still working on the intro!!

I'm baaaaaack!!! Yes, Denys is back behind the lens (well in this pic i'm in front, lol). I have been doing some paid sessions and some practice ones to get back in the flow. I thank God for this outlet. It is truly my passion and my therapy at the same time. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!!

Wow, how long has it been since i've posted? So much has been going on and with some inspiration from my dear friend Val I'm scrappin again. I decided to start an about me album to help with the loss of my dd. I think its a great time to find me again.

I have updated my LO, but everything that i've wanted to add this past month has been put on hold. Many things have been going on in our lives. So i just ask those who come by to visit to keep me and my family in their prayers. Right now we are dealing with complications in the pregnancy, but I know there is nothing to hard for my God to solve. Although times may be rough, we still smile and know that there is hope in HIM!!!

Ok, ok, i know. I have been slacking with the updates. I've been really busy with work, projects and of course the pregnancy, so please forgive me. Just wanted to see how everyone is doing out there in blog land. :) Hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far. Hopefully I can stay on top of things and update more often ;)

Just wanted to share some pictures from my shoot on sunday. This was another senior shoot. I'm actually proud of myself. It wasnt sunny, but there was enough light to capture the images. It feels good to be able to work the camera under different lighting conditions. And i haven't taken pics in a while. I hope you enjoy. :)

Mami its OVER!!!

My Mom is finally retired. Thank God. I am so proud of her.Two weekends ago (i'm real bad with updating my blogs) we had a lunch/party in her honor. I am so blessed to have a mother who worked so hard to give us what she never had. And I'm even more blessed that she gets to enjoy her retirement in good health. I love that woman!!! To U mami, Muahh!!

BTW, thanks to my cousing Wildo for taking the pics. :) Since i had to make a speech and my smart self brought my canon with no CF card (boo, LOL). Then i had my back up cybershot, but it had 2 min left on the battery. LMAO. Talk about luck!

I'm a little tired this morning. I didnt go to bed until 2 a.m. I was up editing some of the pictures from yesterdays shoot. Thanks Valerie ,:) for helping me comb thru ALOT of the images. I also got to chat with " Renea and Tosha; picked up some new techniques. These women are fierce photographers, luv them :). I felt really good about this shoot (before and after). Her name is Beverly Burton, so when she becomes this great gospel singer know that I had a change to capture her "essynce" ;). Not only can she sang, but shes so had this great and loving personality. I was also able to bring my make-up artist on board. (hi Rose). Shes my best friend and is no joke when it comes to doing make-up.
Besides my excitement with photography, i'm a little sad. :( I have to go back to work next week. LOL. Yes i know im being silly, but I actually get like this every year. Getting into the whole routine depresses me. And not to mention I will have less time to work on the photography business. Such is life.
